The short version
The frustration
Running a business meant living inside Xero — genuinely great software, genuinely not built for working out a household budget, a debt payoff plan, or what your tax refund might look like halfway through the year. Bank apps weren't much better: great at showing you what already happened, useless at helping you plan what's next.
The idea
What if there was something built the other way around — starting from an everyday household's actual questions ("can we afford this?", "what will our tax refund be?", "how fast can we kill this debt?") instead of a chart of accounts?
The build
Nights and weekends. Real Australian tax rules — 2026–27 brackets, Medicare Levy, HECS, the actual ATO cents-per-km rate — not generic templates. Barefoot Investor-style buckets, because that system already works for a lot of Aussie households. Built to run entirely on your own device, because your household's finances are nobody else's business.
Where it's at now
Still a work in progress, tested with real people, improved from real feedback. Free for the first 9 months so you can properly try it — then $9.99/month, priced like a beer, not a bill.
