Privacy Policy — The Wealth Builder

🍺 The short version

We collect the little bit we need to give you an account (name, email, mobile). Your actual budget data is backed up privately to your own account so it syncs across your devices — locked so only you can see it. We never sell it, never share it, and you can delete it any time. That's it.

What we collect

Account details — your name, email address and mobile number, given when you sign up.
Your budget data — the income, expenses, goals, debts, tax figures and any receipt/payslip photos you enter into the app.
Basic technical bits — standard things like which device type you're on, needed to keep the app working and secure.

Where it's stored & who can see it

Your account details and budget data are stored securely with our infrastructure providers (Supabase, hosted in Sydney, Australia). Every user's data sits in their own private, locked record — protected by database-level security so that only your own login can read or write your data. No other user can ever see it, and it is never pooled or mixed with anyone else's.

A copy also lives on your own device so the app works offline. You can export your own data to a file any time from the app's Settings.

What we do NOT do

We don't sell your data. Ever.
We don't share it with advertisers or third parties for marketing.
We don't use your financial figures for anything other than showing them back to you inside the app.

The services we rely on

To run the app we use a small set of trusted providers, each only for its specific job:

Supabase — secure accounts and encrypted data storage.
Cloudflare — hosting and delivering the website and app.
Resend — sending your sign-in emails.

If you turn on the optional AI feature, only a brief summary of your own figures is sent to the AI provider to answer your question — never anyone else's data, and never for advertising.

Notifications

If you opt in to reminders, we send occasional push notifications (like a nudge to log your receipts). You can turn these off any time in your device settings.

Your choices

Export your data to a file whenever you like.
Delete your account and data — just ask via the Contact page and it's gone.
Unsubscribe from any emails or notifications at any time.
